Founded by three students while they were undergraduates at Harvard—Stephanie Kaplan Lewis ‘10, Windsor Hanger Western ‘10, and Annie Wang ‘11—Her Campus was a winner in Harvard College’s business plan competition, was a Gold Winner & Best All-Around Team in MassChallenge, was named Top Small Business of the Year by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, among other press and awards.

It all started in 2011 for the Her Campus chapter at Virginia Commonwealth University. Seven years in, and Her Campus at VCU is now is a pink-level chapter with a team of dedicated collegiettes working diligently to provide quality content and be a go-to for VCU students. Her Campus at VCU continuously produces content, plans campus events, partners with businesses and student organizations, facilitates giveaways and supports various causes. Through all of this work, bonds are formed. Her Campus provides a platform for college women to gain experience and make lifelong friendships and connections that will help further their careers and enhance their personal lives.

Christina Dick is the founder of the TFB Agency, a marketing consultancy with a focus on social media. The TFB Agency focuses on creating customized plans that integrate social media into your overall marketing, advertising and customer service strategies. Before starting her own agency she worked with The Martin Agency, Capital One and Big River before opening her own agency. She has worked developing social media strategies with companies such as Walmart, GEICO, SweetFrog and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. She is also an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University and serve on the boards of the Richmond Ad Club and Richmond CenterStage.

Someone you want in your corner, coaching you and asking the tough questions.

 

She loves tapping into quirky human behavior that makes us all unpredictable. Holly earned degrees in Psychology and Interior Design from VCU. An effervescent facilitator who enjoys bringing muted voices to the forefront, Holly's also a trained interior decorator who loves hiking in Richmond's parks, all dogs and everything vintage.

Jessica Nolte graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in interdisciplinary studies with concentrations in photography, journalism and media studies. She is currently working as Outreach and Social Media Specialist for the Office of Student Experience at VCU. In college, she served as the campus correspondent and editor-in-chief of Her Campus at VCU.

 

Her other Her Campus experience includes roles as a chapter advisor and a campus expansion assistant. Jessica had articles published by news outlets throughout Virginia including three articles published in the Washington Post.

Katlyn Pierre

Katlyn Pierre is a blogger, marketer and makeup connoisseur. She is a recent Virginia Commonwealth University graduate (2013-2016, B.A. Public Relations), with a background in social media management and in writing. During her college years, Katlyn acted as the chief editor for the VCU Libraries social channels and worked as a Digital Intern for the TFB Agency. 

 

After college, Katlyn produced content for platforms such as Girls’ Life Magazine, Alloy.com and her own blog. Katlyn’s worldwide focus and interests led her to personally explore a number of international destinations and to join the travel industry, becoming the Social Media and Marketing Director at EWA Travel.

Noura holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from VCU, where she was Editor-in-Chief of Her Campus VCU. After graduation, Noura worked for a trade association in Washington, D.C., performing project management tasks, event marketing, email marketing, social media and content development. She is currently an Account Coordinator at a marketing agency in Reston, VA, where she works with clients daily to meet all their marketing goals and needs.

Outside of work, Noura enjoys meditation, yoga and exercise.

Tamera Jackson graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in December 2017 earning her B.A. in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. While at VCU, Tamera was Public Relations VP for Alpha Xi Delta sorority from 2015-2016. She became a publicist for Her Campus at VCU in the Spring of 2016 and remained a member post graduation. During her senior year, Tamera also became a member of The T. Howard Foundation's Class of 2017 where she obtained a marketing internship in Washington, D.C. for one of the biggest international law firms in the world. Tamera enjoys both fashion styling and social media and hopes to one day become a celebrity stylist/clothing line owner. She currently works for Nordstrom in Richmond, VA as one of the top sellers in the store.

With a career spent at PR and marketing agencies, Lindsay has the pleasure of advising clients – big and small – on how to approach their communications strategy. As a senior-level account director at Hodges, she focuses on strategic planning, writing, media relations, content marketing and internal communications. 

Her campaigns have won industry awards and her clients have turned into long-lasting business relationships. She’s a VCU grad, PRSA Richmond board member, APR certified and an adjunct faculty member at the VCU Robertson School of Media and Culture. She lives in the city and is known to cheer on all things Richmond, including the Rams.
